Mike McDonald

A Newfoundland Musical Treasure!

Michael is a Newfoundland and Labrador award winner and songwriter. He has been a professional drummer for thirty years and has played with bands such as The Catch and The Fables. His passion for music is evident in his beautiful project, The Drum of Gros Morne, which was completed during the fall and winter of 2020. He has spent over half his life bringing his music to the people. Mike plays an array of instruments in addition to drums, such as piano, guitar, and has a fabulous singing voice. He also shares the stage with the show Anchors Aweigh.
