Community Radio - 102.5 FM VOBB Open House Radio

Thanks to Ryakuga, a NL company, Trails, Tales & Tunes is pleased to present recordings from VOBB 102.5 FM, the Voice of Bonne Bay. During the 2008 festival a number of recordings were made from the radio broadcasts. The sample below is just a snippet of what was recorded. Various Musicians who dropped by VOBB:

During the festival a number of musicians dropped by VOBB with instruments in hand. Here's a sample of some of the shows.

Recordings from the "Reels on the Ramp Show":

Dan Payne, Bernie Felix & Norman Formanger put on a great performance during the "Reels on the Ramp" event. Due to the inclement weather the show was moved indoors at the VOBB studio. Check out some of the great music from that event.

Recordings from the "Ben & Friends Show":

The Ben & Friends show was hosted by Ben Murphy. The Ben & Friends show consisted of book readings, musical performances and regular rants on just about any topic. The show was a big part of the youth component to the festival and VOBB. It's expected that Ben & Friends will be back on air during the 2009 Festival.
